What is The Law of Attraction and How does it work?

What is The Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the Secret. Your thoughts constitute a form of energy that vibrates at a certain speed depending on the level of emotional intensity that accompanies the thought. The more excited or fearful you are, the faster your thoughts will radiate from you and attract like-minded people and situations into your life.

“Everything we are is the result of our thoughts.” – Buddha

What is Law of Attraction

Many times we believe that if something good happens to us, it has been a consequence of chance; We do not trust our own ability to attract success, in the power of our thoughts, attitudes and actions to make things happen. If something good happens to us, we usually attribute it to “good luck” to “the predictions of the stars” or simply to “chance”, as if it were something that does not depend on us, as if we could not be the ones architects of our own destiny, as expressed in the famous poem by Amado Nervo. Today we know that each one of us is capable of attracting or distancing success and happiness according to their own thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and actions. We end up becoming what we think. That is precisely the foundation of the Law of Attraction.

How Does Law of Attraction Work?

How many times have you heard this ?: “I believe in the Law of Attraction but it does not work for me”, “The Law of Attraction exists but I do not know how to use it”, “I have really attracted positive things to my life but sometimes I do not succeed. ” Did you know that you have used the Law of Attraction since you have adult consciousness? Did you know that the Law of Attraction is part of your human nature? It is not a hypothesis, nor a theory: it is a law and as such it has universal application.

This law has been known and applied by the greatest, most powerful and influential men and women in the history of humanity such as Buddha, Jesus Christ, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, Bill Gates, etc. In simple terms, the Law of Attraction indicates that it attracts into your life that which constantly focuses your thinking. You are a kind of living magnet: it attracts everything you think about -good or bad, consciously or unconsciously-.

If you think positively, you will attract situations and positive things; If you think negatively, it will attract situations and negative things. If your dominant thoughts are constantly focused on obtaining positive results, your strengths or your success habits, then that will be what appear in your life. In other words: what you focus on tends to expand in your life. Once you accept that you are the maker of your own reality, you will see that you have the power to change that reality. Happy and cheerful people seem to attract other happy and happy people. The person who has prosperity consciousness seems to find ideas and opportunities to make money. The Law of Attraction acts everywhere and at all times.

“Sow a thought, reap an action, sow an action, reap a habit, sow a habit, reap a character, sow a character, and reap a destiny.” – Seneca (Romanian Philosopher)

The principles of the Law of Attraction are constituted by simple rules that are available to any person.

We can all learn and practice them until we incorporate them into our lives in the form of habits. However, to make them part of us, disciplined activity is necessary to repeat them again and again systematically and with an end in mind. This law is undoubtedly the shortest and fastest way to create better relationships, optimal health, greater personal satisfaction and great prosperity in life.

“Take your first step with faith, you do not need to see the whole ladder, just take your first step with faith.” – Martin Luther King

Many people do not know how to move from where they find where they want to go. With the Law of Attraction, however, it is not necessary to have all the answers before you begin. As long as you are clear about what you want and with the kind of people you want to associate with, you will end up dragging it towards your life.

To attract positive results we can start developing the habit of gratitude: I suggest you make a list of those things or situations you can thank. Thank you every day: thank this new day that has given you life, have life, health, count on the invaluable wealth of what you would not exchange for money. You will notice that little by little your list expands. You will notice a change in attitude in you and that change is how the attraction finds the way to you.

“Work as if success depends on your own effort, but trust as if everything depended on God.” – Jesuitical maxim

In the New Testament there are numerous references that show that the Law of Attraction, far from being an esoteric approach, in essence contains many of the principles that Jesus shared with his disciples.

The Bible says: “Ask and it will be given”; look and you will find; call and it will open. For everyone who asks receives; If you search you will find; and to him who knocks, it is opened to him. “(Matthew 7: 7-8)

Of the people who correctly use the Law of Attraction, they are sometimes said to have “luck “If their fate consists in having been disciplined, developed the correct attitude, acted sensibly and with faith to obtain the results they wanted, taking advantage of the benefits of the Law of Attraction, indeed, these people “have been very lucky”;

“Do to your neighbor what you want your neighbor to do to you.” – Jesus Christ

This phrase is the Golden Rule that Jesus Christ summed up in one thought and that is probably the most important rule in the world.

There are many selfish people, in such a way that the few individuals who without ego centrism try to serve others obtain enormous benefits. The best way to ask is by giving, since “the one who gives, receives”. This is one of the best expressions of the Law of Attraction. If we thought more about our neighbor’s point of view, we could awaken a fervent desire in us with which we would both benefit. Many people go tumbling through life wanting to force others to be interested in it and fail to understand that a person is a hundred times more interested in herself than in their own problems and in meeting their needs than in ours. So understanding and then being understood is one of the Habits of Highly Effective People and the cornerstone of the Law of Attraction.

Science Behind Law of Attraction:

When we say that emotions and thoughts and desires are vibrations we are not speaking rhetorically or metaphorically. Learning how to use The Law of Attraction is a science every bit as much as it a spiritual art. And the scientific roots of the Law of Attraction are in quantum physics.

The spiritual implications of quantum mechanics were made abundantly clear to the scientific, spiritual, and secular communities alike in Gary Zukav’s groundbreaking book “The Dancing Wu Li Master”. In it, he explains that the Chinese term for physics is Wu Li which translates literally to “patterns of organic energy”. He then goes on to illustrate how all that we perceive as the physical world and all things in it, including us, are actually these ever-dancing patterns of energy.

Here is the scientific iteration of what ancient theological tomes like the Tao Te Ching and the Bhagavad Gita have been saying all along, that all matter is but the ever-shifting, ever-changing interrelationships between these nonphysical patterns of possibility. That nothing is “real” in terms of its solidity and permanence. That everything is immaterial and in constant motion. Humanity’s gift of consciousness, then, imbues us with the means to engage in the flow of that dance with intention: to guide and direct those energetic relationships to create those possibilities most preferable to us.

Quantum physics even finds evidence of this inexorable effect of consciousness on the physical world in the theory that “consciousness causes collapse”, what’s been deemed “the spiritual interpretation”, for explaining the mysterious waveform collapse responsible for the evolution of quantum systems. It seemed the waveform collapse only occurred when being observed by a conscious energy (ie. a person).

Other theories and experiments have broached this same phenomenon from other angles, including the Schroedinger’s Cat experiment (that the condition of an isolated cat could not be determined without the observer’s interference affecting the outcome) and the Uncertainty Principle (that the act of observing a phenomenon changes it). All these discoveries of quantum physicists validate that consciousness affects the outcome, mind affects matter.

Quantum theory can give us the keys to travel through deep space and time, to teleportation and telekinesis, the manipulation of matter, and even to immortality itself. Are these “super powers” and “supernatural phenomena” not merely different terms for the same sorts of energies we awaken within ourselves when we awaken to our own inextricable relationship with the Source? Is not the power to effect a radical transformation on a physical level with our minds alone just another way of looking at the power to create our own realities through our connection to Spirit?

Quantum physicists like Stephen Hawking continue to strive in their effort to come up with a unified Theory of Everything (ToE), a concise and comprehensive model for explaining and understanding everything that ever was, is, and will be. Proving the validity of the Law of Attraction on the purely physical, scientific level is an exceptionally promising stride.
